Course Overview The objective of this course is to build on the administration skills developed during the Solaris Administration course and prepare delegates for installing, administering and supporting networked Solaris machines. Delegates will learn about the various network services provided by Solaris, such as NIS and NFS, and network administration services such as AdminSuite, Syslog and Jumpstart installation services. This course also prepares delegates for the Sun Certified Administrator For Solaris 8 Operating Environment, Part II Exam. Prerequisites Delegates must be competent in the skills covered by the PTR Unix Fundamentals, PTR Shell Programming, and Introduction To Solaris Administration courses.
