This course has been designed to introduce students to the administration of Windows 2000 in a single domain environment and requires no prior knowledge of system administration. Prerequisites - In order to gain the most from the course, students should ideally posses the following:
- Experience of the Windows interface including, locating, creating, copying and manipulating folders and files and configuring the desktop.
- Knowledge of computer hardware such as hard disks, memory and CPUs.
- Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts including client/server networks, LANS and network operating systems.
