Course Overview

This course has been designed to introduce students to the administration of Windows 2000 in a single domain environment and requires no prior knowledge of system administration.

Audience

This course is suitable for people with no prior experience in system administration.

Prerequisites

In order to gain the most from the course, students should ideally posses the following:

• Experience of the Windows interface including, locating, creating, copying and manipulating folders and files and configuring the desktop.
• Knowledge of computer hardware such as hard disks, memory and CPUs.
• Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts including client/server networks, LANS and network operating systems.
