Course Overview

Personnel practices go to the heart of your organisation and play a role in every aspect of its activities. This 2-day course provides an opportunity to review the key principles and practices for effective performance in your role as a personnel practitioner. Audience

The course is designed for personnel generalists, including new entrants, specialists moving to more general roles, and line managers who are acquiring greater responsibility for personnel activities. It is also appropriate for those from small organisations which are in the process of setting up a personnel function. The programme is more concerned with the application of personnel processes than detailed procedures. The course materials and content are at the Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) level and this course would therefore be useful to anyone considering whether to study for the CPP or the CIPD Professional Development Scheme (PDS).

Intermediate level course - some previous experience of the subject is assumed.
