Course Overview

Despite greatly increased representation across all sectors and in a wide variety of industries, women still face particular challenges when aspiring to leadership roles in their organisations. This workshop builds on research that identifies the key factors that have proved vital to successful women leaders. It aims to help women develop both their inner confidence to realise their career potential and the practical skills required to lead themselves and others effectively.

Audience

Women managers who have the potential to take on more senior roles in their organisations and who would welcome the opportunity to develop their confidence and leadership skills in the uniquely supportive atmosphere of a women's development course.Introductory level course - geared towards those who need an introduction to the subject and assumes limited or no previous experience.

Who am I as a leader? Part 2 The outer story

  • non-verbal communication and use of the voice
  • increasing your visibility at work
  • positive self-promotion.

  • inspiring and motivating people through vision-building

Personal power and influencing skills

  • asserting yourself as a woman leader
