Course Overview Acquire the skills you need to secure HP NonStop servers using Guardian system utilities and the Safeguard security subsystem. In this 4-day course, the case studies will give you the opportunity to design and implement customized solutions for securing a business information system environment. Upon completion of the course, you will be familiar with the $CMON interface and TACL and be able to install, configure, and use the Safeguard product. Audience - Information security administrators

- Security Concepts and Planning (for Guardian Systems) self-study training course
- Knowledge of TACL commands (such as STATUS, FILEINFO, and WHO) for information gathering
- Knowledge of Guardian Utilities such as FUP, PUP, and DSAP
- Ability to manage user profiles using the PASSWORD and DEFAULT programs
