Course Overview The Intermediate System Administration for the Solaris 10 Operating System (Solaris 10 OS) course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform essential system administration tasks in the Solaris 10 OS, such as installing software, managing file systems, performing system boot procedures, performing user and security administration, managing network printers and system processes, and performing system backups and restores. This course is the second of a two-part series that individuals take in preparation for Part I of the Sun Certified System Administration for Solaris OS examination. Audience Students who can benefit from this course include system administrators who are preparing to perform essential system administration procedures in the Solaris OS.
