Course Overview

This course is designed for business analysts who must learn Siebel applications and technology fundamentals in preparation for a Siebel implementation project. This course also serves as the prerequisite to Implementation Case Study for Business Analysts, which uses an implementation methodology to guide participants through a real-world case scenario. Please note that completion of both courses is required for Siebel Business Analyst Certification.

Although this course focuses on the technical aspects of Siebel applications, it is not a course intended for technical audiences. Participants will learn the basics of how the technology works and how to look at aspects of the product, but not how to implement technical areas.

This course provides business analysts with the Siebel product knowledge necessary to participate in a Siebel implementation project. Successfully delivering a Siebel project also requires careful attention to a proven implementation methodology. For a complete education on the role of a business analyst, participants should also attend the follow-on course: Implementing Business Processes: Guidelines and Case Study for Business Analysts.
