Course Overview

This course identifies the Cluster Systems Management (CSM) hardware and software components and explains the installation planning process. It covers CSM Cluster installation and the skills necessary to manage a CSM Cluster system using the Management Server.

This course applies to the CSM for AIX product. While Linux nodes can be included in a CSM for AIX cluster, CSM for Linux is a separate product which is not covered in this course. The course includes lectures on managing Linux nodes in a mixed cluster (AIX and Linux nodes in a CSM for AIX cluster), but there will be no lab exercises using Linux nodes.
