Course Overview

This is a practical workshop covering aspects such as advanced composition, making the best of dull subjects, getting pictures that others miss and making 'people pictures' interesting. Where necessary a refresher of the basic techniques and processes for both film and digital imaging is incorporated.

Audience

The more advanced photographer who wants to improve their picture-taking techniques.

NOTE: Beginners should attend the Digital Photography course.

Not for:

Beginners. This workshop assumes you have a knowledge of the basics.

Course Outline

  • Lighting techniques
  • Planning a set of striking and relevant feature pix using digital cameras to a deadline
  • The importance of planning and researching assignments in advance
  • Using Adobe Photoshop to frame and enhance the finished pictures

NOTE: Those attending should bring digital camera. During the day you will complete an assignment, and have those pictures developed and assessed.
