Course Overview How to use Network Installation Manager (NIM) to remotely install and upgrade pSeries 600 or RS/6000 SPs strongly recommended for administering an eServer 1600 Cluster. This course is strongly recommended for anyone who is required to administer an IBM eServer 1600 Cluster. Audience This course is aimed at systems administrators who will be responsible for remote installation and upgrade of pSeries 600 or RS/6000 SPs using NIM. Skills Gained On completion, you will be able to : - Understand the concepts of NIM.
- Understand how to install LPP and mksysb images using NIM.
- Configure NIM for installation of remote pSeries 600 systems over a local area network.
