Course Overview

The Systems Administrator of a UNIX based system is often to referred to as the 'Super User'. Systems Administration privileges allow an individual almost total control of the system. Hewlett Packard's UNIX system, HP-UX is no exception and the need for a System Administrator to have a clear understanding of the system and the ongoing effects of any action performed is mandatory.

HP-UX is one of the world's leading UNIX based operating systems. During this course the delegate will gain practical experience using both the command line and the HP-UX specific Systems Administration Menu (SAM).

System Administrators, Programmers and other Technical IT staff who require a full working knowledge of how to administer an HP-UX system.
