Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Course Overview

The Project Management Professional (PMP) examination is the certification programme sponsored by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is based upon the PMI's Body of Knowledge (BoK)

This programme leads to an internationally recognised qualification.

This five day course has been designed to provide a complete understanding of the PMI approach to project management for those people who will apply it to their projects. In doing so participants will be prepared for the PMP examination which can be taken at a later date. This course covers the entire PMP syllabus.

This course will involve a significant amount of evening work to maximise the practical work and consolidate the principles covered during the day.

Audience

This course is intended for Project Managers and Team Leaders working in any industry and wishing to become familiar with the PMI's approach to project management or intending to take the PMI/PMP examination.

Prerequisites

Delegates are assumed to have a basic knowledge of project management techniques and principles or to have attended either the Project Management Techniques (PCT), Project Planning and Control (PPC) or Project Planning and Control using MS Project 98 (PPH).
