Focusing on "quick win" problem solving this course explores the main interface controls and features within Windows XP and the use of remote control and administration tools. Audience This course is aimed at help-desk support professionals that are not familiar with supporting the Windows XP operating system or the Windows 2003 Active Directory environment. Skills Gained The course will demonstrate typical problems and look at troubleshooting techniques for dealing with them. It will also introduce the concepts behind Active Directory and focus on the basics of account creation, management and search facilities. Prerequisites Experience of the Service Desk or Help-Desk support role is essential. This course presumes that the attendees have basic Windows navigation skills and experience using Microsft Office products.
