Course Overview

The course is suitable for all release levels of Websphere V6 and delegates will learn how to install, configure and maintain Websphere. The course is delivered using lecture with demonstrations of WebSphere running an application, installing an application and looking at the main tuning tool to replay some performance tuning runs that illustrate the use of that tool. It is the ideal springboard for all other WebSphere and MQ courses.

This course has been classified as IT Technical Training.

Audience

This course is for all IT staff, particularly managers, support and programming staff who need an introduction to WebSphere Application Server and the WebSphere family of products.

Skills Gained

Delegates will gain an understanding of the WebSphere Application Server family, functionality, architecture and the J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) standard. The course is delivered using lectures with demonstrations of installing and running an application on the WebSphere Application Server. It is the ideal springboard for all other WebSphere administration and development courses.
