Course Overview This course combines an accelerated schedule of learning, and will teach Visual Basic programmers and Web application developers the fundamentals of Web application site implementation using ASP.NET. The course focuses on using the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment and the Microsoft .NET platform to create an ASP.NET Web application that delivers dynamic content to a Web site. In addition, the course covers building data-centric applications and Web services with ADO.NET and SQL Server. Audience This course is designed for the professional platform developer who is responsible for designing and building data-centric, distributed applications for his or her organisation. It is designed for developers who have component and Web application development skills, and who have previously built solutions by using Microsoft Visual Studio.
