Course Overview This course teaches you how to perform basic database administration tasks using IBM DB2 Universal Database(TM). These tasks include creating and populating databases and implementing a logical design to support recovery requirements. Audience Database Administrators and other technical personnel who are involved in planning, implementing, and maintaining DB2 databases. Skills Gained After completing this course, you should be able to: - List and describe the components of DB2 Universal Database
- Implement DB2 security
- Perform basic administration of a DB2 database system
- Define a DB2 recovery strategy and perform the tasks necessary to support the strategy
