Course Overview This course is part of a comprehensive training program intended for members of Siebel Analytics implementation teams. The goal of the program is to enable participants to perform the tasks required to successfully complete a Siebel Analytics deployment. This course is one of three advanced role-based Analytics courses. This course provides advanced training in topics related to the tasks performed by an Analytics Server Architect. It is intended for individuals on the implementation team whose major role is to build and modify, and administer Analytics data models and metadata for Siebel Analytics. This course provides instructor-led training on advanced topics and concepts beyond those covered in the core course, Analytics: Server Architect (Siebel 7.7). The course presents material in five sections: Analytics Metadata Configuration, Performance Tuning, Security, Analytics Administration, and Siebel Analytics Architecture. In the Analytics Metadata Configuration section, students learn advanced Analytics metadata configuration beyond what is covered in the Analytics: Server Architect (Siebel 7.7) course. In the Performance Tuning section, students learn how to employ cache management strategies to improve performance. The third section, Security, describes how to use row-wise initialization blocks to enforce data visibility. In the Analytics Administration section, students learn advanced server and user administration tasks to enable usage tracking features. The final section, Siebel Analytics Architecture, explores the various technical architecture deployment options. This course is appropriate for Analytics 7.7 and 7.8.
