Course Overview Analytics: Overview (Siebel 7.7) is the required pre-requisite for this course. The goal of this course is to enable participants to perform the tasks required to successfully complete a Siebel Business Analytics deployment. This course is intended for individuals on the implementation team whose major role is to build, modify, and administer Analytics Intelligence Dashboards for Siebel Business Analytics applications. Students learn to build a simple Siebel Intelligence Dashboard starting with basic requests created in Siebel Answers. Students then add more complexity to the Dashboard as the course progresses, including pivot tables, charts, prompts, embedded content, and navigation links. This course also teaches students how to utilize Siebel Delivers for sending real-time, personalized alerts via intelligence agents (iBots) to Intelligence Dashboards for subscribed users. - Students also learn administration tasks related to the development and configuration of Intelligence Dashboards
- how to customize the Web user interface for Siebel Analytics Intelligence Dashboards using cascading style sheets, dashboard styles, and XML message files
- and how to integrate Analytics dashboards into Siebel applications using Siebel Tools. Finally, the course provides an overview of recommended design principles and best practices related to the presentation of information in Intelligence Dashboards.
