Course Overview

The CCIE Preparation Lab would be extremely useful and beneficial for networking professionals and CCIE candidates in order to prepare for the CCIE lab exam. The lab is equipped with Cisco routers, switches and miscellaneous networking equipment. The lab will be conducted by a first class Cisco instructor.

Cisco has responded to the challenge in the internetworking technology with the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Program. This is a high-level certification program designed to identify and serve the best of the internetworking experts and to improve your hands-on skills. The CCIE certification is currently the most significant certification in the industry.

Audience

This course is designed for CCIE routing and switching candidates.

Skills Gained

Candidates will be able to configure and support routing, switching and bridging including IP, IPX, Apple Talk, RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, ISDN, Frame Relay, ATM, PPP, HDLC, Route redistribution and LANE.

The CCIE Preparation lab is not a training session, but is designed for the purpose of practicing for the lab portion of the CCIE exam.

Prerequisites

Candidates should be prepared to at least CCNP level education in order to satisfy the expected knowledge required for this course. Additionally each candidate for this Lab must have successfully completed CCIE part 1, the theoretical proctored part of the CCIE Routing and Switching.
