Course Overview

This 3-day course discusses Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) challenges and the HP RISS solution built to meeet those challenges. Students will first become familiar with the RISS hardwar and software architectures as the operate in a Microsoft Exchange environment. The RISS tools are then used to customize and manage the solution. This class has extensive hands-on labs to supplement each lecture.

  • Linux System administration
  • Windows system administration
  • Baasic SAN knowledge

Course Outline

  • Understand the networking structure of the RISS solution.
  • Configure and implement email mining
  • Manage and administer a RISS environment.
  • Determine the RISS status using CLI and GUI.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of the RISS System.
