Course Overview The fastest way to become a Certified Systems Expert on IBM System x Servers. The System x Summer Camp combines two certification courses, IBM Systems x Technical Principles (XTR01AGB) and Windows Installation and Performance Optimisation for IBM System x (XTR05GB) Skills Gained The 3 day intensive courses will provide you with hands on experience installing, configuring, trouble shooting and tuning Sstem x based database servers, web servers and file servers operating under the MS Windows operating system. You will learn practical, real life performance tuning techniqures, tools and tips for System x Servers. The course will also enable you access to the latest Redbooks, publications and hints and tips to help you out in the field. Prerequisites This is an intensive course. Students should have some experience of x Series/System x Servers and x86 Architecture. Students shold have good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003 including working with performance monitoring tools.
