This course is aimed at studio managers that need to be able to support other and have no formal OS X technical knowledge. It takes a technical approach to supporting real-world Studio based Tasks. From File sharing, permissions and print services to disk imaging & distribution

Studio Managers / Team Leaders who need to support a Mac Studio comprising of OS X and an OS X Server. This course is ideal for anyone that supported a Mac Studio under legacy software and need to transfer the skills to OS X without attending a more technical based training course

Network Services Overview
Configuring Mac OS X workstations for networking, as well as troubleshoot common networking issues.
Peripherals & Printing
How peripherals are supported in Mac OS X, with an emphasis on USB, FireWire, and Bluetooth buses. Configuring and troubleshooting printing on Mac OS X.
Troubleshooting Tools
Using the various resources available to troubleshoot workstation problems.
Server Install Overview
Installation, initial configuration, server administration tools, and troubleshooting installation issues.
File Services
Configuring and troubleshooting Apple File Service, share points for Windows users, network mounts, and FTP. Creating / Managing Network Users & Groups.
Web Services
Configuring and troubleshooting Apple Web Service, Virtual Domains, SSL Certificates, WebDav.
