Course Overview This course is designed for the new AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT. It incorporates the features, commands and techniques for creating, editing and printing drawings with AutoCAD 2008 and AutoCAD LT 2008. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create 2D production drawings. This course may be taken as 2 or 3 days. There is no difference in the course content, the 3 day course is taken at a slower pace to cover the exercises in more detail. Audience This course is designed for new users of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT. Skills Gained This course is intended to show new CAD users the skills required to understand and use AutoCAD and LT effectively and gives delegates the skills to: - create new drawings and accurate drawing

Examinations On completion of the course you will be presented with an Autodesk Authorised Training Certificate. Prerequisites No previous CAD experience is necessary. However, drafting, design or engineering experience would be an advantage. It is recommended that delegates have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
