Configuring, Managing and Maintaining HP Storage Essentials 5.x

Course Overview

This course gives administrators new to HP Storage Essentials the necessary skills to be able to effectively monitor and manage their storage resources. Students are introduced to using, configuring and administering Storage Essentials in a networked storage and server environment. The course covers both the Standard and Enterprise Editions of the HP Storage Essentials software. Students will experience Storage Essentials integrated with HPSIM. The course will provide hands-on labs for topics presented.

• Learn to gather information about the whole infrastructure, capacity and manage resource utilization.
• Students learn to set up centralized security with defined roles/permissions for monitoring and modifying resources.

• Demostrate how Storage Essentails can help simplify complex tasks and reduce the impact of change.
• Learn to set up automated reports and manage the internal database.
