Learn how to use pdweb, ioscan, the MP console, virtual front panel, and command menu interfaces to manage your system. Understand how to install and update the operating system, manage the boot process though the EFI interface, control HP-UX 11i v2 kernels via kcweb, kcmodule, kctune and related commands. Create, modify, boot, and remove node partitions and manage crash dumps. Audience Experienced HP-UX 11i v1 system administrators responsible for installing, updating, and configuring HP-UX 11i v2 servers or workstations. - Cold install or update HP-UX 11i v2 via Ignite-UX or update-ux
- Manage the HP-UX 11i v2 dump process via selective & compressed crash dumps

- Manage the 11i v2 boot process via the EFI interface

Prerequisites - HP-UX System and Network Administration I & II h3064s & h3065s
- or HP-UX System and Network Administration for Experienced UNIX Admins h5075s
- or equivalent HP-UX 11i v1 administration experience
