Course Overview

Learn about Information Analyzer in its IBM Information Server environment. You will learn how to use Information Analyzer to profile a complex set of data. You will gain hands-on experience by performing several data profiling tasks - column, table, and cross-domain analysis. These tasks will reveal data interrelationships as well as anomalies and error conditions.

  • Analyze data content to identify anomalies and errors.
  • Examine data relationshipos thourgh the discovery of key structures.
  • Discover data associations that cross data domains. Determine the true meta data structure based on data content.

Prerequisites

You should:

  • Be familiar with Windows, the operating system (OS) running Information Analyzer
  • Have basic knowledge of Client/Server concepts and strong technical aptitude
  • Be comfortable working in the Windows environment and using Windows applications
