Course Overview

This course offers the opportunity for you to develop the skills rquired for planning and implementing a business process solution using the FileNet P8 architecture. This custom transitional course ocntains materials from the standard P8 3.5 course, updated with the changes resulting from the 4.0 release. it covers allnecessary content, but has not been trough the final edit, format, and validation process we use for all out released courseware.

The course is delivered by an experienced instructor who will anser questions and clarify any matters pertaining to the 4.0 release of the IBM FileNet P8 product. All lab excerses are performed in a P8 4.0 environment. In the interest of providing the latest information to our customers, we have developed this transitional format for rapid delivery. The final and fully released courses will follow in Q4/2007.

Audience

Anyone responsible for planning, designing, and creating solutions to business problems using IBM FileNet Business Process Manager and the IBM P8 Architecture

Prerequisites

Knowledge of PCs and Networks - Practical working knowledge of Midcrosft Windows 2000 Server, Active Directory, and Microsfot SQL Server 2000 - Experience using IBM FileNet P8 Platform architecture (recommended)

FileNet P8 Solution Planning - System Architecture - Content management design: Classes, objects, and properties - Process Engine configuration - Process Design and implementation - Workflow component intefration and Web Services - Process Engine and Content Engine interaction - Events, subscriptions, and workflow
