Course Overview

Learn about QualityStage V8 in its IBM Information Server environment. Students will learn how to build QualityStage parallel jobs that investigate, standardize, match and consolidate data records. Students will gain hands-on experience by building an application that combines customer data from three source systems into a single master customer record.

Skills Gained

Build jobs that analyze data quality using data content investigation techniques. Build jobs that standardize free-form textual data. Build jobs that perform probabilistic record linkage to match duplicate records. Use match design tools to measure record matching efficiency and tuen match performance. Build jobs that consolidate matching records into a single surviving master record.

Prerequisites

Be familiar with Windows, the operating system (OS) running Information Analyzer. Have basic knowledge of Client/Server concepts and strong technical aptitude. Be comfortable working in the Windows environment and using Windows applications.
