Course Overview

This course provides the necessary background knowledge required to administer users and protected resources using the RACF security package. It also covers the commands used to set up and modify RACF objects such as Users, groups, dataset and general resource profiles.

You do not need to attend the RACF Fundamentals course if you are booking this course - the first day covers the fundamentals.

Upon completion of this course, the attendee will be able to use both TSO commands and ISPF panels to create and administer users, groups, dataset and general resource profiles; select the appropriate profile to protect a particular dataset or resource and allow a user or group of users the appropriate level of access.!
