Course Overview

This course has been created for those requiring an understanding of how business benefits are managed to facilitate their delivery. The delivery of business benefits relies in part upon effective testing and implementation of business solutions and the course also covers these areas. Our approach is to underpin theoretical concepts with a realistic case study through which participants can gain experience of applying the benefits management and business acceptance techniques.

The course prepares participants to attain the Certificate in Benefits Management and Business Acceptance offered by the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB). Candidates are required to pass a one-hour open book examination in order to acquire the Certificate.

This course has been classified as IT Technical Training.

Audience

  • Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Managers, Service Managers and other key stakeholders involved in benefits management of new systems
  • Those who predict expected benefits, those responsible for monitoring the business case through the change and those who ultimately accept the system (UAT) and apply it to deliver the benefits to the business.!

Skills Gained

Completion of this course will enable candidates to understand the role of a business case through the project lifecycle from defining the promised set of deliverable benefits, through monitoring a project against the business case and testing the deliverables against them and post-delivery measuring the delivered benefits against the original business case.

This course is based on the syllabus for the ISEB Certificate in Benefits Management and Business Acceptance.

This course will prepare you for the 'ISEB Certificate in Benefits Management and Business Acceptance' that can contribute to the ISEB Business Analysis Diploma.
