Course Overview The course is intended for the members of the Siebel implementation and administration teams who are responsible for developing, modifying, administering, and deploying reports in a Siebel installation.The course provides participants with the knowledge to modify existing reports, create a variety of new reports, and make the reports available to Siebel clients. Participants learn how to use the Actuate e.Report Designer Professional to accomplish these tasks. In addition, participants learn how to install and administer the Siebel Reports Server. The course briefly covers the Actuate object model in order to show participants how report functionality can be customized using scripting. The course uses the Siebel 7.7 platform but applies in general to all releases of Siebel 7. Differences in Siebel Reports Server functionality and procedures among the Siebel releases are noted in the Student Guide. - Generate and view reports from Siebel applications
