Course Overview

The Siebel Management Overview for IT Managers course is designed to provide IT Managers with a general understanding of Siebel Systems Products, Architecture, and Implementation Methodology. It Managers will have a hands on lab familiarizing them with the features and capabilities of the Siebel User Interface. The course provides basic Siebel Architecture from the Server and Development perspective. Students are introduced to the Three Layer Object Oriented Architecture of Siebel Systems and how this architecture is configured to respond to specific customer requirements.

Students are also introduced to the latest Siebel Implementation Methodology. Included are general descriptions of the team structure needed to satisfy a full cycle project deployment.

Students are finally guided through some of the automation and integration tools available to simplify project work, ensure the upgradeability of deployed Siebel Systems, and take advantage of the latest industry automation approaches.

Students taking this class will walk away with a solid understanding of what Siebel can do, how it is customized to meet user requirements, and how its architecture supports Multi-Channel Sales, Service, and Marketing application deployments.
