Course Overview A totally practically orientated course designed as a follow-on to the CICS Application Design course. Delegates will be required to develop on-line Cobol programs during the course. Audience Application Programmers. Skills Gained Upon completion of this course, the delegate should have a good understanding of programming in a CICS environment, and be competent in writing and testing CICS Programs. By The End Of This Course You Will Have Learned How to create, compile and test a CICS/COBOL program. Prerequisites As the attendees are expected to develop programs during the workshop, they are expected to be conversant in COBOL. Attendees must also have attended the CICS Application Design course, or have equivalent knowledge. Course Outline - Coding, compiling and testing a number of CICS programs, that will make use of the CICS facilities described in the CICS Application Design course
