Course Overview Veritas Bare Metal Restore for Netbakup 6.0 is an enterprise solution for rapid recovery of UNIX or Windows client systems. As a complementary product that is integrated with Veritas NetBackup, Veritas Bare Metal Restore (BMR) simplifies and streamlines the server recovery process, making it unnecessary to manually reinstall operating systems or configure hardware. With a single command, complete server restores can be accomplished in a fraction of the time. In this three-day, instructor-led, hands-on class, you gain the expertise that is necessary to set up, administer, and troubleshoot a BMR environment.. Audience This course is for system or network administrators, system engineers, technical support personnel, and system integration/development staff who are responsible for installing, operating, or integrating Veritas Bare Metal Restore 6.x for NetBackup. Prerequisites - Students must be proficient with administration of Windows and Solaris operating systems and with basic networking technology.
