Course Overview The Course is designed to instruct those delegates attending the course how to perform database administration activities on DB2 in a Linux, UNIX or Windows environment. Those activities include all aspects of manual or automatic maintenance, utilities, problem determination, parallelism, distributed data management, remote administration, MDT, Health Center, federated databases and DB2 Governor. Audience Systems Administrators, Database Administrators and technical personnel who are involved in all stages of designing planning, implementation and maintaining DB2 for LUW Databases. The course is delivered up to DB2 9. Prerequisites Delegates are expected to have relevant operating system experience (i.e. Linux, UNIX or Windows) and knowledge of relational database theory and SQL.
