Course Overview This course is designed for system administrators and consultants who will be implementing, planning or administering the HP OpenView Storage Data Protector product on HP-UX, Windows NT/2000 and Solaris systems. This course follows U1610S and is aimed at administrators implementing Data Protector within a Zero-Downtime-Backup environment with HP StorageWorks arrays and Oracle. This is a four-day instructor led course with extensive hands-on lab work performed on HP-UX servers from a Windows Data Protector GUI. Audience System administrators and network administrators using HP OpenView Storage Data Protector 5.0 or HP OpenView Omniback 4.x on HP-UX, Windows, or Solaris platforms. Prerequisites - For HP-UX administrators: HP-UX System and Network Administration I or equivalent hands-on experience H3064S
- For administrators with an existing knowledge and experience on a version of UNIX(R): HP-UX System and Network Administration for UNIX System Administrators H5875S
- For Windows administrators: Windows NT/2000 Administration training or equivalent experience
- RDBMS experience is suggested (Oracle 8i will be used in class)
