Course Overview In this 3 day course you will learn how to create Process and Power diagrams (P&ID's) and how to setup and maintain the AutoCAD P&ID environment with the new AutoCAD P&ID solution of Autodesk Plant Solutions. During this course the trainees will go deeper into not only the graphical ease of use of the program, but also into the creation of symbols, tags, annotations and setting up project environments. These functions offer a wide variety of extra information and possibility's that can be used in project reporting, filling title blocks and publishing entire projects which are created by the user. Audience Anybody with an interest in AutoCAD and some working experience. Skills Gained During this course the delegates will: - Go deeper into not only the graphical ease of use of the program

These functions offer a wide variety of extra information and possibility's that can be used in project reporting, filling title blocks and publishing entire projects which are created by the user. Examinations On completion of the course you will be presented with an Autodesk Authorised Training Certificate. Prerequisites - The trainee doesn't need any particular AutoCAD knowledge, but for better understanding of the program it is advisable to have some working experience with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Process and Instrument diagrams is recommended but not essential, however it will make the course easier to follow if some basic knowledge of the process industry is present.
Course Outline The course duration is 3 days, in which the essential chapters to create a Process and Instrument diagram will be taught. Also in these 3 days the Project Manager and Data Manager functionality will be discussed, as these functions are essential for the use of AutoCAD P&ID.
