Course Overview

This course is designed for the new AutoCAD Architecture 2008 user who requires comprehensive training. It incorporates the features, commands and techniques for creating, editing and printing drawings with AutoCAD Architecture 2008. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create architectural drawings.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that delegates have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. Drafting, design or engineering experience would be an advantage.

  • Adding and Editing Ceiling Fixtures
  • Creating and Editing Curtain Walls
  • Creating 3D Stairs and Railings
  • Creating Door and Window Assemblies
  • Editing Objects
  • Using Object Display Options
  • 3D RenderingDay 3
  • Annotating Drawings
  • AEC Dimensions and Title Marks
  • Adding Callouts and Callout Views

  • Adding Schedule Tags and Tables
