Course Overview

As more and more Avid editors migrate to using Final Cut Pro, this Apple authorised course is designed to make that transition as smooth and efficient as possible. This is a two day practical course which introduces the primary feature set of Final Cut Pro 6 using Avid terminology and references as stepping stones and will transfer your existing editing talents to Final Cut Pro.

The course covers Final Cut editing operations; capturing footage, sound editing, creating bins and sequences as well as exploring Final Cut's extensive effects and real-time colour correction tools. The course is run by experienced editors who will pass on professional Final Cut tips and tricks.

Audience

This class is designed for Avid Media Composer Editors and Avid Film Composer Editors who wish to learn Final Cut Pro.

Examinations

This course covers the requirements necessary to successfully become an Apple Certified Pro, Level One in Final Cut Pro. Level One certification attests to basic operational knowledge of the application.
