Course Overview How to overcome nerves and present with confidence It is widely recognised that speaking to groups and audiences is one of the most difficult tasks to accomplish with distinction, yet it is the most commonly used method of communication in most organisations. Presentation skills training is a core business skill and a must for anyone wishing to be able to communicate effectively. The presention skills training course is highly participative in nature in order to develop individual skills and techniques. Delegates will have plenty of opportunity for practice in a safe environment with plenty of support, individual attention and tutor feedback in order to build delegates confidence and ability to make a professional presentation. Audience This presentation skills training course is for everyone who wants to improve their presentation skills - whether at meetings, seminars, training courses, client presentations or larger audience functions. CCTV is used to help the review and analysis sessions. Practice sessions are recorded on CCTV and replayed for review. Delegates not only learn from the tutor but also by their own discovery of appraising their own presentations. In addition, delegates learn from one another as they apply the techniques that that gain from this course. Very often delegates can feel quite apprehensive about practicing using CCTV, however it is introduced in a positive and non-threatening way in order to help delegates feel at ease. This course is a residential programme and includes additional group evening work designed to enhance the learning process. It is therefore advisable, but not mandatory, for delegates to stay at the venue. The venue used has been hand selected and provides the most effective combination of learning environment and value for money. Unless otherwise advised, delegates will be booked into the venue and will therefore be required to settle their bed, breakfast and evening meal costs with the venue upon departure.
