Course Overview

This course has been designed to provide non-technical professionals with an introduction to GPRS principles, services, operation and integration with GSM networks.

The course provides an overview of GPRS services, GPRS architecture, operation, and interworking with the Internet. The course also provides an insight into the essentials of IP networking, IP-based applications, Voice over IP, and Quality of Service.

Finally, the course examines the roles of EDGE, EGPRS and GPRS in 3G networks.
