Course Overview

The course will allow the delegate to understand TCP/IP and associated utilities and how they work under Windows Server 2008. It will enable delegates to plan and implement a Windows Server 2008 based TCP/IP network, including services such as DNS and DHCP. It also covers advanced security features such as secure remote access and encryption technologies

Audience

Windows 2008 administrators who need to be able to plan and implement network technologies for effective Windows deployment, wide-area networking, and remote communication. Those who require a Windows 2008 qualification.

Prerequisites

Delegates should have attended our Windows 2008 Server Administration course. It is strongly recommended that delegates also attend the Quanta course Windows Active Directory, or have equivalent knowledge.
