Course Overview The APMP is a baseline foundation level qualification for those working in project management. The APMP examination is designed to determine an individuals' knowledge of project management, sufficient to be an informed member of a project team. The syllabus is derived from the APM Body of Knowledge and is generally in accordance with BS6079. Audience Those working in project management. Skills Gained By the end of the course delegates will: - have a clear understanding of the APMP format and requirements;
- have attempted and conducted a peer review paper 1;
- have attempted and conducted a peer review of paper 2;
- have the opportunity to address areas requiring development in order to be more confident in taking the APMP exam;
- have sat the APMP exams.

Course Outline DAY ONE An introduction to the workshop including: Session 1 - Introduction - objectives and timetable
- introduction of the participants

- administrative arrangements
Session 2 - Examination Overview This brief session explains the: - examination process, structure and timings.
- exam conditions, timings for results etc.
- exam and study techniques
Session 3 - Paper 1 Mock Exam This session provides the participants with the experience of sitting a mock exam of the multiple choice paper, conducted under exam conditions. Upon completion of the exam, the participants and tutor will work through the answers in small groups. Session 4 - Paper 2 Mock Exam This session provides the participants with the experience of sitting a mock exam of the 'free hand' paper, again conducted under exam conditions. Upon completion of the exam, the participants and tutor will work through the answers in small groups. Session 5 - Open Workshop This final session allows participants with the opportunity to address any areas where they feel development is required to pass the examination. DAY TWO Session 6 - Paper 1 Examination Session 7 - Paper 2 Examination Session 8 - Review and Close
