Course Overview

This intensive and practical course provides hands-on trainers, instructors and those responsible for learning in the workplace with the skills and knowledge to design and deliver a range of learning activities. Participants review and practise a variety of skills enabling them to effectively instruct and develop others in the workplace.

Audience

  • instructors, trainers, and individuals who deliver practical training in the workplace
  • individuals who have little or no experience of practical instruction
  • more experienced instructors seeking to review and enhance existing skills.

This course is aimed at those who design 'hands-on' job instruction programmes, e.g. IT trainers. Those who design 'group' learning events normally delivered by a course tutor/trainer should attend Designing learning and development programmes.
