Course Overview Delegates who have been using PRINCE2T regularly since passing the Practitioner examination are advised to attend one classroom day, at the end of which they will sit the Re-Registration paper. Delegates who have not been using PRINCE2T regularly are strongly advised to attend two classroom days, the first of which consolidates knowledge from the pre-course self-study, the second of which will conclude with the Re-Registration examination. The PRINCE2T Practitioner Re-registration examination is one hour in length, with an additional ten minutes reading time. The examination is open-book, with any paper-based reference materials allowed. The paper is based on a case study scenario and candidates must answer one question worth 50 marks. The pass mark for the Re-registration examination is 50%. The course has been designed to make use, in the first instance, of guided self-study so as to bring delegates 'up to speed' with PRINCE2T. It will then move to the classroom for an exam preparation day, which is followed by further revision before the Practitioner exam itself is taken, usually a week later. Course objectives: All those who have passed the PRINCE2T Practitioner exam since October 2000 have been designated as Registered Practitioners. However, the registration period expires after five years so, in order to keep their qualifications current, those approaching that five year point are strongly advised to take the Re-Registration examination. The objective of this course, therefore, is to prepare delegates for that examination and to enable them to sit the paper at the course's conclusion. This course will enable participants to: - Keep their knowledge of PRINCE2T and good project management practice current.
- Sit the PRINCE2T Practitioner Re-registration examination.
Audience Delegates who have passed the PRINCE2T Practitioner exam within the last three to five years and now need to take the Re-registration examination in order to retain their qualification. Skills Gained Delegates will learn to: - Prepare and take the PRINCE2 Re-registration Examination administered by the Association of Project Managers Group (APMG).
