Course Overview

This is an intensive hands-on lab course in skills and methods critical to large-scale deployment and management of mission-critical Red Hat Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, failover and load-balancing, cvs for system administrators, RPM rebuilding and performance turning for specific applications.

Senior Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrators and other IT professionals working in enterprise environments and mission-critical systems.

Skills Gained

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Deploy and manage Red Hat systems to enterprise standards of reliability, availability, scalability and manageability (RASM)
  • Execute high availability and load-balancing capabilities of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Implement and manage enterprise Red Hat Linux deployments efficiently and effectively so the entire enterprise deployment can be managed by a team
  • Manage a large number of Red Hat servers in a variety of roles

Prerequisites

Requires RHCE-level skills; the RHCE certificate on 7.1 or higher is recommended but not required.

Prerequisite skills can be evaluated by passing the RHCE exam in these courses: RH302 or RH300 or taking RH253 or equivalent skills and knowledge.
