Course Overview

Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a key Business Intelligence component of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. It supersedes Data Transformation Services (DTS).

The main function of SQL Server Integration Services is Data Warehousing...SSIS allows you to build data integration and workflow applications, and includes commercial-class features for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). SSIS can also be used for automating maintenance of SQL Server databases, update multidimensional cube data.
