Course Overview

The APMP is a professional qualification that recognises an individual's knowledge and experience in Project Management. It is awarded by the Association for Project Management, the UK professional project management association. It is designed for Project Management professionals in any industry. Successful candidates may use the designation APMP after their name.

This course has been classified as Business Skills.

Audience

Any Project Manager who wishes to review the APMP syllabus, before taking the formal APMP qualification examination.

Skills Gained

This course will enable delegates to:

  • Revise the APMP syllabus.

Examinations

APMP Examinations are held on the last Friday in each month to suit the delegate and should be booked separately - The APMP Qualification Examination (APM5X).

Notes

This workshop comprises a full day's workshop on the Thursday immediately prior to the examination on the Friday. It comprises a review of the APM syllabus and revision of all areas that require calculations, followed by discussions and answer mapping for the remainder of the syllabus. Additionally, the workshop facilitator will take specific questions from delegates. Evening work consists of private revision for the examination.

Prerequisites

It is expected that delegates will already have attended either the APMP Qualification residential course (APM) or the APMP Qualification non-residential course (APMNR), both 5 days in duration.
