Course Overview
With over 80% of the class conducted through hands-on exercises, CTX-1268AI provides learners with valuable experience installing and configuring the release preview of Project Delaware, the next major Citrix XenApp release, which has been purpose-built for Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This workshop is designed as a skills update for experienced XenApp users, providing in-depth training in installing Citrix XenApp and the Citrix Delivery Clients as well as using the administrative consoles to configure published resources, policies, individual server and server farm settings, load evaluators, printers and other settings.
Note: Because this course is based on the release preview version of the product, it is possible that some product functionality and terminology will change for the final product release and may not be included in this course.
Audience
This course is intended for IT professionals, such as server, network and systems administrators familiar with Microsoft Windows environments. Systems engineers, analysts, consultants, and architects are also appropriate candidates for this course.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that learners have experience administering Microsoft Windows ServerT 2003 or Windows Server 2008 environments. In addition, Citrix recommends that learners have experience with Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 or higher, or have completed the following Instructor-led and eLearning courses:

Key Differences: CTX-1268AI vs. Current Version XenApp Training
The CTX-1268AI course covers the release preview of the next version of Citrix XenApp (Project Delaware), which is purpose-built for Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This course is designed specifically for students with previous XenApp (Presentation Server 4.0 or higher) experience, and relies heavily on hands-on exercises to update students' XenApp skills.
CTX-1259AI Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4.5): Administration and CTX-4100AI Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4.5): Skills Update both address the administration of the currently available version of Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4.5) designed for Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 platform.
CTX-1259AI is a 5-day course designed for students who may or may not have previous experience with XenApp, while CTX-4100AI is a 3-day course designed for students who have previous XenApp experience and want to update their Citrix XenApp skills.
